I'm actively following other Unitarian Universalists here, because what I'm feeling is that now, more than ever, this denomination can save lives. Our president says we are a "sanctuary faith" and that is the TRUTH. To my trans and queer beloveds, find a UU community near you. We love & need you.

It’s really strange how Trump figured out that Executive Orders are basically “longer tweets that drive giant media attention” and the media hasn’t figured it’s being played each time they report on these as if it’s Moses coming down the Mount with stone tablets.

I see the phrase "competitive authoritarianism" thrown around a lot on here and while that may be descriptive of the moment we're in I cannot stress enough that you should never say that phrase to a normal voter and instead just say Trump's trying to be king.
