🤔Newsome literally had Steve Bannon, Charlie Kirk, and Michael Savage, on his podcast. That's not a stand against fascism. At least, not an effective one.

He's chasing "independent" voters, not fighting fascism.

Good luck to him in that endeavour. Let me know how that works out for him.
They are taking a stand against fascism.
Thank you, AOC, Newsom, Buttigieg, Pritzker, Crockett, and Sanders, for your bold leadership and unwavering commitment to justice. #politics #activism

From the 2025 National Security Strategy document on US goals in Europe: "Cultivating resistance to Europe’s current trajectory within European nations"

This statement is born from critiques of immigration in Europe. This regime is so anti-immigrant, it wants to police immigrants in other nations.
Unpacking a Trump Twist of the National Security Strategy
The Trump administration released its much-anticipated National Security Strategy this week. CFR convened six of its experts to discuss the implications of a document that could reorient the United S…

Racism is expensive. This whole messy chapter is costing us lives and trillions of $

Trillions. With a T.

Good news:
We could stop this financial ruin at any time! It's entirely self inflicted

Bad news:
But we won't. Because we like the racism. We prefer it to not going bankrupt / into recession

She had seizures. This was eclampsia, not pre-eclampsia. And with symptoms at 5 weeks, and her medical history, there was no saving the pregnancy.
When Tierra Walker, a 37-year-old from Texas, asked doctors about terminating her high-risk pregnancy to save her life, they assured her she had nothing to worry about.

Then she died of preeclampsia.

Walker is one of several women ProPublica found with underlying health conditions who died when they couldn’t access abortions.

Reminder to make sure I have my passport card and drive conservatively as I travel for the holidays. Won't be anywhere near DC, but this could happen anywhere in the US.

Not that a passport card will do any good if they ignore it or claim it's a fake.
WTF 🤬
ICE in DC is setting up racially driven checkpoints and roadblocks. This is one on Canal Road. A large number of vehicles can be seen waiting to be towed after these agents disappeared their owners.

When counseling my patients about RSV vaccination, even though I no longer have peds patients, I always mention benefits of immunization to protect infants, especially premies. One proud grandpa got his RSV vaccine today, both for himself, and to provide extra protection for his granddaughter.

That's 3 years from now. Our current president has been back in office less than a year. We need laws limiting how long a campaign is, so politicians can spend more time actually doing their jobs instead of campaigning for the next one.

You would think that the 8 GOP Senators who are SO OUTRAGED that Jack Smith subpoenaed their phone records that they want $1 million compensation would bring him in to testify IN A PUBLIC HEARING to explain why he did this. But no, they don’t want to do that. I wonder why?
