Final teases for our charity print anthology!
It has to be post-apocalypse time (a favourite genre for our Ed).
These three writers truly nailed the end of the world; brutal and beautiful writing 🦝

@sarahkat.bsky.social @therelphian.bsky.social … fungal dystopia… right up your streets!
Pre-ordered
One book I read in draft, coming next year, is And Side by Side They Wander by @mollytanzer.bsky.social, which combines first contact, space adventure, utopia (and fungal dystopia) and mythic resonance in a novella. It's great and we'll also see more like it.

I took advantage of this & sent Matt a ‘problem-child’ piece: friends love it, but it’s clocked up a slew of no-cigar rejections & I couldn’t see how to fix it.
I got my report 2 days ago. Still glowing from the lovely things Matt said about my writing, but loads of ideas to work on too.

Also, very lacking in editing work (and this always makes me happy!) so if you're got a piece of flash or a short story you'd like me to look at, I'll give you 10% off if you get in touch by the end of the day:

Also was talking about James Gunn and mentioned Guardians of the Galaxy and my son was like "what is that?" And I was like, GotG, you've seen it? With the raccoon? And Groot? And he just kept shaking his head.

Anyway I pulled up a picture and he said "Oh yeah, the one with Hot Shrek"

HOT SHREK???
