I am from Germany, and I am old enough to have had parents and grandparents who lived through Nazi Germany. Not every arrest is fascism. However, the organized manner in which this government enables these cruelties definitely has a 1933 vibe. You should not be sarcastic about the obvious parallels.
Yes, every arrest is fascism. Every court case is fascism. All things are fascism. Fascism is anything you believe it can be.

Neither CBS nor ABC thought that they could afford to openly break with the US government right now. Can this be seen as making the best of a difficult situation? Is it impossible to say 'no'? Or is the key word 'openly break'?

2) It is in both Britain‘s and Europe's interest to work closely together.

Just so we’re clear, the problem of violent extremism in the U.S. is one coming from the far right, not the far left. It’s just that the right is fed misinformation about it so they have it wrong in their heads once again.
