What’s funny about the Oscar race this year is the CHUDs are mad at One Battle After Another because it’s “woke” and makes fun of white supremacists but they can’t derail it from winning everything because then the big winner would be SINNERS which is woker and makes more fun of white supremacists

your democratic party didn't fight increasing the national ethnic cleansing budget

The democrats are desperate to be in opposition forever… or at least until an opposition party appears that will replace this cowardice.

These cowards ain’t winning shit if there are midterms.
DHS spending bill passed 220-207

7 Democrats voted in favor:
Henry Cuellar
Don Davis
Laura Gilles
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez
Jared Golden
Vicente Gonzalez
Tom Suozzi

Massie voted No
Andy Harris didn't vote

Might not have passed if every Democrat voted No, but leadership wasn't whipping them to do so

You voted to keep kidnapping and trafficking 5 year olds.

Some of the strongest pillars in any community, the ones who get the least credit, are always the mail carriers.

Be nice to your mail carrier, they carry dog treats in violation of policy.

Having worked police disability claims and seen from the inside how they work and take money out of communities, I’m of the opinion that a police officer must only be allowed to police a community if they live within that community.
one of my kinda more crank, unworkable ideas is that there are jobs where the people who self-select into them are not the people who you want & that maybe we should just sortition people into those roles. like there are some things that attract people to policing that you don't want in cops.

Look if you keep talking about non-voters and you're not mentioning voter suppression in the same breath, you're not serious about addressing the problem of people not voting

Through research, lawsuits, and advocacy, the Brennan Center is fighting voter suppression on every front.

I guess I do think if you participated in the arrest of a five-year-old you are probably just fundamentally incompatible with society. That you are not a safe person for humanity to be around, generally

Yesterday, I drove refugees that had been shipped off to Texas all the way back home to St. Paul

Seeing them reunite with their families reminded me this is their home.

So keep sending them to Texas. I’ll keep driving ‘em back and introducing them to Bucc-ee’s and KC barbecue along the way.

Multiple helicopters are currently flying so low over my neighborhood that when they pass directly over my house, my windchimes go crazy. In case you're wondering whether St. Paul is also getting terrorized.

Here in Minneapolis, hundreds of clergy from all over the country have been deployed into the streets to participate in ICE/DHS watch.

The hail from a range of religious traditions, and have come from all over.

This particular group is in a heavily immigrant neighborhood.

Every week, I see at least one post on here about Event Horizon.

If Bluesky has a movie, that’s it. We folded space and time, punched a hole through it, and went straight to hell.

If Bluesky has a TV show, it’s Heated Rivalry.
