I think what comes out of the @thedwshow.net List Makers on "Top 5 classic seasons" is that it's not necessarily about the seasons with the highest average scores, but seasons with strong TARDIS teams & consistent tones & ideas which carry you through any weaker stories.

I admit to growing up with Doctors 3 and 4, so may be just biased. But if I were making this list I'd be tempted to have 4 or even just possibly all 5 from their runs: 7, 10, 13, 14 and maybe 18. I struggle otherwise. I think season 26 would be up there if it had Remembrance instead of Battlefield.
