Watched as nothing in the series supported their theory.
When theory they imagined turned out NOT to be "endgame", crack it at the show, & throw around words like "queerbaiting".

I think what comes out of the @thedwshow.net List Makers on "Top 5 classic seasons" is that it's not necessarily about the seasons with the highest average scores, but seasons with strong TARDIS teams & consistent tones & ideas which carry you through any weaker stories.

So... Avatar Fire & Ash was basically just the second movie's plot with that ash tribe thrown in to make it even longer, and whilst it looked great, I found it pretty dull :/

I've now re-watched seasons 1 & 2 of Blake's 7 in the last fortnight, on the amazingly well restored Blu-Ray sets!
These seasons really are SO good!
I'd honestly say there's only one properly bad ep across these 26 episodes, and MANY classics!
