If you watch The Help, which I don’t really recommend, and imagine one of those Black women are your grandmother or great grandmother, it’s makes the film even more offensive.

Just know Ms. Minny, you always have a job here as our help , raising our kids over your now, cooking for us over your own.

The Wright Museums Instagram page is HILARIOUS. Think The Office but it's the staff at a Museum for Black History. Better believe this is on my list of places to visit.

I’m not ok.

Most controls in organizations fail when there is collusion. It is an interesting academic problem to try to correct this in the Constitution, and would have been helpful to avoid the coming guillotines. The root of the crisis of character seems to come from the corruption created by money.
The United States is not actually in a constitutional crisis. Our Constitution works just fine.

We are in a crisis of character — where nearly every single person who has sworn an oath to uphold our Constitution and enforce the law lacks the courage, moral fiber, and decency to do what is right.
the president of the united states should not be allowed to personally loot the treasury to the sum of ten billion dollars and that this is not resulting in immediate, unanimous impeachment is a dramatic indictment of what has become of our political system

it is a bit comforting watching white people come to the slow realization that the same lying tactics that law enforcement has used on black/brown ppl for generations is now being used on them. We've been gaslit for so long it's sad that it's taken this long to get to this point.

What do you expect from people whose claim to fame is generating clicks and follows on social media?
Crooklyn is in my personal top 10 favorite films of all time. I grew up studying that film. Troy’s family was my family.

To call Delroy Lindo an “emerging artist” is to call his whole career and the impact he had on black families and their kids (I’m 41 btw) out of existence. It’s erasure.

Good. If the Republican majority really wants secret police invading US cities and killing innocent Americans, they can pass it themselves. Democrats can’t stop this while the GOP controls the White House and both houses of Congress, but Dems can at least refuse to validate it.

Now hold that line.
🚨 SCHUMER just now: “Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included.”

Perfect example of why I’m frustrated. Morning Joe has no problem calling what happened a murder (because it is) but I distinctly remember Joe basically saying Tamir Rice deserved to be shot and protesters and folks upset about it weren’t picking “the right cause”

We now have restaurants that don’t have servers or hosts.

You seat yourself.
You order on your phone.
A robot brings out your food and drinks.

But the menu prices are still high af.

Explain this please.

One chef on staff, so why are your prices higher than fully staffed establishments?
