I don't want to be all "Bah! Humbug" but #ChristmasKarma looks krap.

Santa baby, please, please, please give us at least one good new Christmas movie this year.
What’s up with the absolute dearth of new Christmas movies this year?

Controversial take, perhaps, but for all the political interfering and all its faults, the BBC is a positive institution. Like the NHS, it's a remnant of socialism in an increasingly capitalist hellscape. This is why the right on both sides of the pond are coming for it. It needs support.

If I had a nickel for every time I watched a movie with an unkillable, endlessly regenerative monster who turns out to be a sympathetic hero, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice in the same weekend.
