I have zero problems with Jeff Kent being a Hall of Famer, but listening to his comments when asked about Barry Bonds is genuinely hilarious. I have no idea if Kent ever took PEDs, but I definitely wouldn't rule it out in any way based on his verbal and body language when talking about it.

Given the last 20 years or so of existence, their recent personnel changes, and Walt Weiss' comments about how he got his last job at his presser the other day, I feel somewhat confident in saying that I could probably just talk my way into being the manager of the Colorado Rockies in 2026.

With the lack of major league proven arms in the Braves bullpens, declining options on 2 relievers is surprising. If the plan is to use that money for a signing or trade for a shortstop like Ha Seong Kim, it's absolutely the correct move.

Literally if nothing changes outside of a different bench coach, it would have made more sense to bring back Ron Washington, Eric Young Sr., and Bo Porter
On one hand, Weiss is considered more analytical and flexible than Snitker. On the other hand, it stinks of Braves Way promotions.

Has anyone else noticed the Braves put out the press release about Weiss being hired as manager without giving any contract details. Pretty sure each of Snitkers deals was spelled out in the releases.
