Caught up to #Noise at #Fantasia2025, and can honestly say it’s got the best jump scares since Insideous 3. A quick 90 minutes with plenty of substance in the narrative framing. My favorite of the fest so far, review coming later today.

I really dug this one because we don’t get enough goofy horror comedies. This will make an excellent triple feature with Onyx the Fortuitous and Killer Klowns
Here's our first review out of #Fantasia2025! #HoldtheFort is a classic horror comedy and far exceeds the amount of laughs you'd expect. The gore effects are impressive. Some characters are not as fleshed out, but still well worth your time.

Media outlets can't pivot to AI to save themselves. It's not a business strategy and it's not going to work. The only path forward is for journalists to lean into their humanity, to do things AI can't, and to make clear they are writing for people, not algorithms:
