I agree with that it does not reach the highs of those other films though.

I didn’t really expect him to be, but Hawley also dives way deeper down the philosophical well as the series progresses. I felt like he got the “this is how we’re different than what you’ve seen” stuff out of the way early. Episodes 3-6 are why I love the franchise (obviously can’t drop spoilers)

Awesome movie, can’t wait to pick up my copy of Fangoria later today
