When Musk says data centers in space will be cheaper than on the ground, has he shown us his math?

What assumption could make it *cheaper* to lift computers with solar panels into space than to leave them on the ground on earth to do their job?

Kindergarten teacher called a prank ICE hotline thinking it was real. She called to report her 6 year old student to ICE to try to get them and their family deported.

6 years old.

She does not enjoy hearing her own words and actions played back to her.

Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

We need to get rid of this moron who thinks people are in the streets looking for some light reform

Data centers have to get rid of heat. Vacuum is an insulator. I really don't see this happening.

The whole "Trump can't rig the elections" thing strikes me somewhat the same way as "climate change isn't going to drive human beings extinct" thing.

Like ... sure. OK. But there's a whole lot of bad shit that stops well short of that!

Tear gas may be a mild abortifacient but mostly we haven't studied its long term effects on men or women so we don't know how much long-term damage the poison does while it's in our bodies.
fun fact the military didn't look into this at all when they were studying tear gas back in the 1960s

but in addition to stuff like irregular periods, there's evidence tear gas exposure can be linked to miscarriage

more than enough data to suggest caution

“in theater” is a crazy way to describe minneapolis
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

A new Pew poll finds that Trump's job approval rating stands at 37%, only 27% support all or most of his policies, and 50% feel the administration's actions have been worse than expected.

Also, only 21% are very confident Trump acts ethically in office.

Only 27% of Americans say they support all or most of Trump's policies – down since last year, with the change coming entirely among Republicans.

ICE is upset that ICE isn't welcome in restaurants after ICE ordered food at a restaurant, ate it, then arrested restaurant employees, and ICE believes this is someone else's fault, do I have that right?

This is my Senator
I voted against funding a lawless ICE and DHS. These agencies are out of control and putting Americans’ lives at risk.

The administration is refusing to hold officers who abuse people accountable and refusing to submit to congressional oversight.

This is literally all so stupid, but especially point three. The man who killed Renee Good videoed it himself and we know who he was. This cannot be reformed. It must be abolished.
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.
