Pew Research Institute (2023):

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

The Feds are NOT investigating AND are NOT cooperating with local and state officials who ARE trying to investigate.

(Worth remembering that Todd Blanche was formerly Trump’s defense attorney .)
BREAM: Is the FBI investigating the ICE agent who shot Renee Good?

BLANCHE: What happened has been reviewed by millions of Americans bc it was recorded. We investigate when it's appropriate. That is not the case here. We are not going to bow to pressure. So no, we are not investigating.

I don’t know how long any lessons learned from stove touching will last (not very long I fear) but it’s quite clear that the only way a lot of voters will learn anything at all is touching the stove while it’s red hot
Fundamentally the lesson American voters took from Trump I and Stop the Steal is that Worse Things Aren't Possible imo
The North Atlantic Treaty was, to be fair, on the ballot in 2016, ‘20, and ‘24 and a decadent voting public made some horrible choices.

Congress can stop ICE. Congress can block the use of force in Greenland. In other words, in this crisis, Congress can act to support civil liberties at home and free nations abroad. To fail to act would be to be complicit in a dreadful outcome.

The idea that there aren’t 10 Republicans in this entire country who will stand up to Trump should forever lay waste to the notion that somehow Republicans are more patriotic Americans, and deserving of a century of ridicule for them and their progeny.

I implore my fellow Dems not to overthink this. You can just say - I’m against the government shooting people in the face for no good reason. This is not hard. Same with the ludicrous invasion of Greenland. Democrats are anti-invasion of Greenland bc it’s the dumbest thing ever. Be ruthlessly blunt.
New CNN polling:

Most Americans see an immigration officer’s fatal shooting of Renee Good as an inappropriate use of force. Roughly half view it as a sign of broader issues with the way ICE is operating, w/under 1/3 saying that ICE operations have made cities safer.
