"the TF in TF Emily stands for Body Swap"

LOL. Sometimes it feels like it.

Re: Stranger Things Conformity Gate. So what if it didn't happen. Why do we have to shit on people who were legitimately having fun with fan theories? It was harmless fun. Sometimes people need distractions from the shit of the real world.

Not enough people talk about the gender bender movie Zerophilia, which is one of the better movies I've reviewed which doesn't treat gender as a joke.
Movie review for 2005's Zerophilia.

Luke learns he has a rare genetic disorder that causes him to switch gender.

And it's not just Xitter. I can't understand why trans content creators are still on Facebook and Instagram. I've seen them post over there and instantly get roasted by the transphobic people in the comments.
if you still use Twitter please understand that you are enabling and supporting this.

It’s only going to get worse, so you may as well leave now and start rebuilding your “following” anywhere else.
For the last few days on X, people (mainly women, and sometimes children) have had nonconsensual images of them in swimsuits (or much worse) requested by users and created by Grok.

Musk's only apparent response thus far has been to crack jokes about it.

"I can't afford to support my favorite author right now, I—"

Reviews.

Reviews are free AND they are a gift to authors that can keep on giving (i.e., exposure, marketing, algo boosts, etc.)

Please, give the gift of reviews to your authors this holiday season. It really can make a difference!

Six days left until Shortlists drop 👀

Best Fiction had narrowed to a four book horserace.

But the Nonfiction, Poetry, Debut, and Author shortlists are still very much up in the air, and your votes can help craft them!

Have you voted in the TFR Awards yet? Information below 🏳️‍⚧️📚

Every writer who generates a slop image for their work is a class traitor.

"I can't afford a visual artist"

So your solution is stabbing artists in the back? Stealing from them?

Furthermore, slop-generated imagery suggests slop-generated writing. That's how you're presenting yourself.

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).
