One thing that's been heavily proven to me is Bluesky is not all politics. The music, record, cd, movie, books, horror and lots more scenes are heavily alive and well here with almost zero negativity. Better engagement here than Facebook has been in years.

Last Samurai Standing (loosely based on the book by Shogo Imamura which itself dramatizes the 19th century dissolution of the Samurai and borrows from the setting that lead to the Satsuma Rebellion) is a fun ride. Fans of “The Most Dangerous Game”/“Swuid Game” genre of stories will enjoy.

I've made the point in the past that Trump's support is based on a coalition of disordered counterpublics which distrust institutions, such as anti-vaxxers, Pizzagate truthers, and the like. Their primary loyalty is to their individual causes, not Trump, and this is the coalition fracturing.

Like, on one end grateful I’m in the periphery so I was never targeted in that apparently ongoing drama that should have died on the vine by one party but still feel deeply for those who still have to endure some aspect of it.
