Today marks Earth Overshoot Day. A date that means we have used all biological resources the Earth can renew during the entire year.

UN data shows the very first global #EarthOvershootDay occurred on December 25, 1971. Last year, it was August 1st. Now it's July 24th.

Always worth reading Cole's analysis of screenplays. He knows a lot about them, obviously, and I always learn something I hadn't noticed when watching the movie. His analysis of Notting Hill was amazing.
WHEN HARRY MET SALLY… was released 36 years ago today (July 21, 1989). Writers of all stripes should study Nora Ephron's brilliant script, especially the three Act 1 meet cutes that establish the titular characters' friendship/conflict while reversing their world views.
