I wound up making some time tonight and finished both the build and water slides for the RG RX-78-2 2.0 Gundam Base Colors version.
Taking an already fantastic kit and giving it the awesome blues and white color scheme - it turned out fantastic!

I ended up falling asleep quickly last night, but I finished him pretty quickly this morning. The parts only fit together 1 way so you can pretty much build it without even the directions. I painted the red on the eyes and 2 of the green spots and I love how he came out! #plamo

Also I’ve been putting off getting a Raser for a while but I really want to test it out to see how it compares to the Stedi glass files I’ve been using. I don’t think I’ll get a chance to use on this but I’ll be using it soon #plamo

I decided to start with the head instead of following the order of the manual so I can build her from the top down and I specifically really love the eyes

I’m not like super attracted to any of the unicorn suits even if I do think they’re pretty but I have this MG banshee from like the first year I got into gundam that has been in the same pose since I built it and every time I look over at her I have a moment where I'm just like “yeah she can get it”
