I wonder what the state of blog/website revenue is right now? Because I would love to see the fired Teen Vogue writers set up their own publication with no direct corporate control but I don’t know if that’s financially realistic

Many people are outraged that Trump is demolishing part of the White House. But of course Trump can't do it without help. It's ACECO LLC of Silver Spring MD ("full-service demolition") that is tearing down the People's House. You can call them and let them know how you feel. 1/

NEW: Since October 2023, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit has released dozens of 3D animations illustrating alleged Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iranian sites

The style is now unmistakable: satellite zoom-ins, black & white wireframes, and red-textured houses - a new visual language of war

In the last few days I’ve had several conversations with scared little high school kids about what to do if ICE comes into their part time job. I hope life is unending misery for everyone who helped get us here

Think about what pets your more religious friends have. If the rapture happens we’re going to have to organize to take care of all their critters right away!

Do you guys think CVS knows that when you search their app it says they have no electrolytes? Do also you think they know that they misspelled electrolyte on their own product? Do you think the AI they forced into the app is improving the user experience??

After years of relentless service the hot end on my ender 3 gave up with one final puff of white smoke. I’ve had a replacement on hand for over a year, legitimately amazing run for a $15 part

Are there any protein bars that taste like real food? I would be fine with 5 or 10 more grams of sugar if it made them not taste like office supplies??? I’m just looking for an easy snack that will give me some energy, I have no delusions of magically becoming a fitness model

You have just 3 weeks to object to the Roadless rule rollback.

Link to USDA public comments here:
You Have Just 3 Weeks to Object to the Roadless Rule Rollback, Which Will Affect 45 Million Wild Acres Across the U.S.
The Trump administration just opened a three-week comment period for revoking the Roadless Rule, which keeps wilderness intact.

All of the Japanese web shops suspending shipping to the U.S. are part of the plan to bring Gundam model kit manufacturing back to middle America where it started.

Sitting on the dining room floor at 3 in the morning feeding the cats little pieces from a ziploc bag of freshly smoked chicken. They really knew what they were doing when they decided to live with me

The grocery store closest to me is trying to start a price war with another store so I have a giant tray of discount fresh veggies going into the smoker and then into some meal preps

This week at work I’m learning everything I possibly can about the care of almost all (common-ish) pets smaller than cats and dogs.

This week in my free time I’m designing the first draft of a custom medical device for someone who’s had a laryngectomy and can’t find a version that fits right.

Iowa: In 2024, 2 schools received more than $10 million in NIH grants, for a total of $209 million. Of that, $136 million went directly to research and $73 million went to facilities and administration. The new rate would bring that to $20 million, a loss of about $53 million.

With Joanns potentially shutting down completely I can’t help but wonder why Cricut and Darice and Caron and DMC and Fiskars and Vogue patterns and all the other brands they sell aren’t trying to form a collective to buy it? It seems like the loss of Joanns would massively affect all of them?????
