Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

RIP Andy Piper one of the great Bellingham originals. Was always a pleasure running into him or seeing one of this bands over the year. Only got to see Reeks and the Wrecks once (shortly before Orion was killed) and his drumming vibe is seared into my brain

Took my dog out for a walk 30 seconds before the city erupted with joy, even for someone who this is not their thing, it’s pretty amazing to experience Seattle suddenly start levitating

Found out recently this dork is the 2nd cousin of one of my bandmates and the great shame of their family
Jan. 6 rioter Jake Lang was arrested Thursday after kicking down letters of an ice sculpture at the Minnesota State Capitol that spelled out "prosecute ICE" to instead read "pro ICE."

Finally caught up with the really great If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, and if I'd had to come up with a one word marketing pitch for it I would have gone with "SHEraseHERhead" and amazingly my wife didn't walk out of the room after I told her that

Holy shit finally you can take the damn light rail to the east side on March 28th!
MARCH 28
We're just seconds away from learning the date that the full 2 Line will finally cross Lake Washington with riders aboard.

If you'd told me 5-10 years ago that Jafar Panahi and the guy who made FROWNLAND were gonna have a bunch of Oscar nominations in the same year I would have laughed in your face

Hey dork, I drove an hour throw a snowstorm in early January to see THE THIN RED LINE on opening weekend

I think about the ending of The Leftovers on at least a weekly basis.
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

Did not think non-functioning Behringer mixer was going to become the two-year olds current favorite toy, but it is full of knobs and buttons and a slider

Saw someone familiar walking towards me in DUMBO and just as I realized it was David Cross and my partner was about to ask if it was him, he saw we recognized him and he put his head down and walked past us as quickly as possible
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Does Yo La Tengo get to leave their gear setup for the whole Hanukkah run of shows, or does the venue insist they breakdown and load out each night?

I don't think I've EVER seen a flash flood warning for this part of King County
Green River levee fails, 'life-threatening' flash flooding possible
The National Weather Service says over 46,000 people could be impacted.

omg. Kat Abughazaleh just posted that if she's elected, she'll swear in on a copy of Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower.

If you were elected to public office (never mind whether you'd ever actually run), what book would you swear in on?
