Yesterday the US carried out three lethal kinetic strikes on four vessels were trafficking narcotics in the Eastern Pacific.

Very cool video about surfing in St. Paul in the Pribilof Islands. This is about as remote as one can get. 200 and some air miles north of Dutch Harbor/Unalaska, 200 miles from the mainland in the Bering Sea. Really crazy weather.

Having western Alaska on Pacific Standard Time would be the equivalent of having Washington, Oregon and California on Eastern Time.
The Senate voted 18-2 to pass Senate Bill 26, which would eliminate daylight saving time in Alaska and ask the federal government to put Alaska on Pacific Standard Time.
