ICE activity has not noticeably tapered off yet here and in fact this week they seem to be focused on terrorizing kids at bus stops and schools.
yes, there are no real signs of any big change in DHS activity here yet. In Chicago there really was after Bovino left and they basically ended "Midway Blitz" not so here so far.
I don’t know, declaring victory in MN seems premature. They’re still arresting people and brutalizing the community. The changes appear—so far—to be cosmetic

This. The alt-federal-agency accounts were very much a Trump-1 thing. Now I assume that at best they're resistance grifters if not worse. None of them is as useful as named accounts where I know who's behind it. They're beyond their use-by date. Some are clearly dodgy, but none are worth keeping.
I got leery of all the altFed accts awhile ago, whether they are all bad actors or just some, the upside seems low at this point
Anon accts are becoming less interesting in the current environment, if you don't know who is running an account, I treat it as misinfo (unless humorous/fun)

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse serving veterans. He died trying to protect protestors being assaulted. A group of anonymous & masked men fired chemicals into his face, beat him, disarmed him, and shot him in broad daylight in front of witnesses. Then his government smeared him & defended his murder.

The administration seems to have badly calibrated expectations of competency. Not everyone is as incompetent as they've been running things.

CNN: DHS officials have come to FEMA staff and told them to limit the use of the word ice…they are worried that by posting something like, watch out for the ice, that it's going to become a meme….

Just rolling my eyes at that. We elect these people so that they take care of business for us. If we're unhappy with the level of taxes or the level of services, we can unelect them. I don't want to be bothered having to do political hand-to-hand combat with my neighbor - it's a huge waste of time.
