Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Mystified by the idea that Trump would need some sort of excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act. He doesn’t need written permission. He could, at any time, say he needs to invoke it and invoke it. He wouldn’t be above that, so if that’s his goal, why hasn’t he done it before?
Unless the *federal government* very quickly commits to a clear and credible investigation and to hold wrongdoers accountable, all hell is about to break loose.
