I spoke with non-citizen Massachusetts residents who have been put through absolute ICE hell, including malnutrition, solitary confinement, denial of medical care, and deportation—all of which might have been avoided if not for Massachusetts working so closely with ICE.

How is it possible that anything about the funding fight does not include at the absolute minimum releasing every child from these concentration camps?
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.
Hundreds of kids are still detained.

For my part, I think that being friendly with a convicted pedophile shows the kind of bad judgement that should disqualify people from any large leadership position. But to many people occupying those leadership positions, Epstein's pedophilia conviction seems to have felt like an asset.

The proposed centers are so large that some could house as many as 8,000 detainees at once, according to a DHS spreadsheet of more than 20 potential locations that was verified by NBC News. The largest federal prison in the U.S., for example, has roughly 4,000 inmates.
