I’m curious about the literacy rates within this administration
Trump claimed the Biden administration spent $8 million "making mice transgender." The White House tried to back up this number with records of funding for research into cancer, asthma, and HIV, some of which used *transgenic* (genetically modified) mice.
Trump Decried Millions Spent 'Making Mice Transgender.' It Was Cancer and Asthma Research
President Trump falsely claimed that Biden spent $8 million on 'making mice transgender,' but the real research was for human health.

The lure of Elon’s alternate reality for his followers is so powerful that he will tell them that pulling books off shelves, deleting words from government websites, and banning programs for their kids based on words they used is all part of fighting back against censorship. And they just let him

Today I am thinking of my interview with Raye Zaragoza and happy that I chose this life and not the one where I’m someone’s unhappy wife

Raye Zaragoza called off her wedding and put the money towards her new LP, "Hold That Spirit."

“My engagement post on IG was the most-liked thing I’ve ever posted in my life — more than my music. Women can live so many different kinds of lives and still deserve to be celebrated.”

It's basically this: Over the last 15 years, deeply alienated and lonely internet trolls, amplified by influencer grifters and algorithms trained to increase time on metrics by stewing division, convinced huge swathes of American men that every facet of modern life is feminine and, thus, bad.
I... do not understand this new construction of masculinity?

it's not athletic. it's not stoic. it's not handsome. it's not accomplished. it's never been intellectual.

it's just rich white loud dudes on the TV who look like they don't wash their genitals? is that it?
