If I could offer one almost-always-good piece of advice, it's when you see a bunch of people up in arms about stuff, look to the established authors (like 10+ years). If they're not freaking out, don't waste your energy either.
I finally got the email from KDP that seems to be causing drama this morning and honestly, I'm not mad at it? Unless I'm missing something, it's letting us decide if we want to give customers the option to download our DRM-free titles as EPUB or PDFs.

AND supporting your local library is super important! If you actually DO want books to be available to everyone, the library *already exists* and is staffed by the people who are deep in the trenches of fighting censorship! Supporting the library is doing actual good for your community!
