The GOP gave tax cuts of $2.3 trillion to the rich, but believe food & healthcare is something the country can't afford.
A political party who forces people to go w/o food & healthcare, so the wealthy don't have to pay taxes, is morally bankrupt.

Based on tonight, the take-home message for future elections seems to be twofold:
1) Vote in such numbers that even Fox can't spin it
2) Vote in such numbers that even Trump/GOP can't cheat with it
Just overwhelm the evil, basically

Right? because open enrollment goes from now-ish until December 31 -- delay for another month and it'll just be entropy pushing the evil across the finish line.

Here's why: If Johnson waits til Jan, then ppl have to commit to new godawful premiums or choose not to have insurance. Thus, Johnson/GOP effectively torpedo ACA & screw over millions of ppl, w/o having to take a vote that would prove just how much they hate 99% of the folks they purportedly serve.
So far, there aren’t many signs of it ending anytime soon. Originally, they were shooting for November 1, but now Johnson is talking about it potentially taking until January, which would be fucking outrageous.

Apropos of nothing in particular: As a physician, I sometimes have to convince pts to let me do a Mini-cog test to evaluate memory/dementia.
Never have I lied and said it's an IQ test.
Bc if I ever floated it as an IQ test, even pts with dementia wouldn't be so stupid to believe it was an IQ test.
