Honest question: what’s preventing the DOJ and Trump from simply shredding every single document mentioning him from the Epstein files before turning the rest of them—or only the ones mentioning Democrats—over to Congress?

We’re inching ever nearer to seizing random brown people’s homes and turning them over to white nationalists as their “rightful” property. History is starting to stir—and send out rhymes.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Cannot emphasize enough how much I dislike the constant interrupting AI overlay Amazon is doing on this football game.

Totally distracting visually and makes me want to switch over to ESPN’s Gamecast rather than fight my way through the weird, distracting overhead visuals

They want us all silenced, poor, scared, and in excruciating pain. Oh, and tattling on our neighbors.
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."

I keep seeing regular Americans taking more risks every day to fight tyranny, want, and cynicism than I see from the opposition party, and I imagine many of those regular Americans are asking themselves what the value proposition of such an opposition party is, really

Not one more dime, ever, to this party.

To individual candidates, sure.

But to the DNC? Nope.

DCCC? Nope.

DSCC? Nope.

To partywide PAC’s? Nope, nope, and more nope.

Never again.

Senate update: Republicans are now trying to sneak a backdoor national abortion ban into their government funding bill. Republicans will stop at nothing to control women's health care decisions.

Speaker Johnson is officially keeping the House in recess again next week. This will be the eighth consecutive week the House has been out of session. The chamber hasn't met since Sept. 19. Adelita Grijalva, who was elected on Sept. 23, has not been sworn in.

It’s really just a banner night all around: NY, ME, VA, NJ, PA, CO, even Orlando FL, folks

It’s okay to take joy in this moment even knowing the full wrath of the administration will be unleashed to fight this trend next year.

A large majority is with us and that is formidable

"you don't know what it was like, kid. the streets were like nothing we'd seen before. bread, cheese, meat... we faced it all. you'd be walking down the block, saying hello to the locals, then BAM -- sandwich slams into your kevlar. the smell of mustard and onions... oh god! I can still smell it."
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."

Love this idea
If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net
