Reminder that "jaywalking" was literally made up by american car manufacturers to shift the blame for accidents from drivers to pedestrians. "Jay" was a slang term meaning "idiot" or "rube".

Mona Juul, who has been Norway's ambassador to both Jordan and Iraq, and was previously ambassador to the UK, made her name helping to negotiate the Oslo Accords. She has said that in light of the revelations in the Epstein files, it was wrong to say she only had minimal contact with him.
