Just the fact that now in the United States armed masked men can go up to someone just pumping gas and say "are you a US citizen" should outrage every. single. American.

Some context: it took me almost a year and multiple applications to get a GS-5 ($34K annual salary) clerk job at the Department of Veterans Affairs. At the time, I had an MBA and a decade of management experience.

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable
