I'm no longer confused by either and I am so outraged that we have regressed to a place where women have even less bodily autonomy. Where coat hangers will once again become more than a symbol. Where angry white men standing on the sidelines make decisions for us all.

Utterly shameful

"threat of a public sale loomed"

WE shouldn't have to BUY our heritage back, it should be accessible

Finders & landowners must change mindsets, STOP "mine & money and think ours & gift"

🐀Male and female rats like to be tickled differently - males prefer rougher play.
🤣How do we know? Rats produce ultrasonic giggles that can be monitored with a bat detector.
🧪Why is this relevant? To improve lab animal welfare.

Ah, to tickle rats for a living...♥️

No, I don't want to "quickly hop on a call with you". I want to bump into you at random on a rain-lashed heath, nod at you in silent mutual admiration as we watch a buzzard gliding smoothly over a dramatic chicane in the river, then get the fuck on with my day

Me: “Here, have this instead.”

Cat: “I am fire and the wind. Do not attempt to know me.”

FWIW, I love Parks and Rec because is a love letter to the people who, like Leslie Nope, show up every day to do the deeply unsexy work of making society function because they believe that their small contributions make the world a better place. In sufficient numbers, that’s exactly what they do.

Egads, this is harrowing:
New from me:

Elite law firms, multiple media outlets, the D.C. attorney general, and a group of parents accused a teacher of molesting 15 kids. They were wrong.

This piece is two-and-a-half years in the making. And as you'll see, it took some incredible turns, even as I was reporting it.
Accusing Jordan Silverman
A D.C. teaching assistant was accused of molesting up to 15 kids. Multiple law enforcement agencies cleared him. But his nightmare was just beginning.
