If Leader Jeffries faces a primary challenge from a progressive, every progressive in office should get on board.

His leadership helped led to a historic, unacceptable defeat in November ‘24 after taking millions from AIPAC.

It’s time for change.

NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

The UK just has incredible attention to detail when it comes to making sure the people who pay all the taxes can’t have nice things. Child benefit? No. Free Child car? No. Cut price bike to cycle to work? No.

Functionally we are telling people they pay too much tax to get anything from the state.

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

Tremendous admiration for JCO and what she's been able to accomplish. Not specifically the Elon thing but becoming such a poster's poster that, out of respect, nobody mentions that one picture anymore.

i don't know nearly enough about the platner situation to strongly opine, but i do know enough to realize referencing fetterman here is silly. boiling down everyone you see as a fake ally to being a "fetterman" actually whitewashes fetterman's character
FETTERMAN ACTIVATE
"Not one senator said Platner’s tattoo or other controversies were disqualifying, and several acknowledged he’s bringing excitement to a party that has been struggling in the political wilderness since President Donald Trump took back power in January."

will there be any followup to this fascinating story by the president of the united states that a friend of his sent him a check for $130 million dollars and the president is going to give the money to the military because i for one am fascinated about the details tbh
Trump: "By the way, a friend of mine called us the other day and he said 'I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have because of the Democrat shutdown. I'd like to contribute any shortfall you have with the military.' Today, he sent us a check for $130 million. It's gonna go the military."
