Graphic Designer. Writer. Illustrator. Sherlockian. Whovian. Christian. Creator of Dynamics of a Podcast (the one and only Moriarty podcast!). She/her.
I made this for a college assignment, 12 years ago. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was still recent, and the last episode of Sherlock was "The Reichenbach Fall," so I went all out on a "Final Problem" theme.

I always did want to make a magazine. 😂 #SherlockHolmes #Sherlockians

So, in the space of 24 hours, I:
• Got my 2nd invite to the BSI Dinner
• Found out that my car battery and front driver axle needed replacing. Repairs to the tune of $1K+.
• Landed a 2nd freelance gig.

That's a rollercoaster! Also within that time, we experienced a small but mighty Blue Wave.

When you said that having joy is an act of resistance, it really stuck with me. I think about that a lot now. ❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

I couldn’t love this image anymore. A mayor elect on a subway surrounded by a diverse group of people with a huge smile on his face. A tribute to a candidate who genuinely loves his city. So excited for you, NYC!!

I’m just saying that *if* somebody had wanted to put a curse on Dick Cheney, “On the day you die, may a Muslim immigrant Democratic Socialist become mayor of New York City” would be a pretty good one.

Thinking of this:

"I've heard it said that hope is the consequence of action more than its cause... Instead of waiting around for hope, we actually have an obligation — a responsibility — to build hope, and that hope is the result of what we do in this moment."

- Pete Buttigieg
Trump tries to build a fake wall of inevitability around everything he does.

Today, voters - literally from sea to shining sea - broke through all that, and this is just the beginning.

Democrats routed the Republican Party from high-profile governors’ races to obscure local contests, sweeping statewide races in Virginia and New Jersey while electing New York City’s first Muslim mayor.

I stg, "younger woman in present day meets older woman with secrets, the story goes back in time to WWII, and the modern girl finds things out/helps resolve things" is such a weirdly persistent subgenre of WWII fiction. Every so often, a new one turns up on Amazon.

Job-hunting and having to screen for scammers is a constant game of whack-a-mole. Absolutely exhausting.

You know how the conventional wisdom is to be careful about what you say in your social media accounts when you're job-hunting? Well... only my bluesky account here is public, and... what someone would get from it is that I'm liberal and depressive, and they were going to find that out anyway, lol.

The days are darker now, so I needed (emotionally) a little more light in my workspace. (The window directly faces my neighbor's house, lol, and I'm also not right in front of it like I have been right in front of windows for the past few years.)
