Nancy Drew's how I got into reading tons at the age of 10, especially mysteries. Then all of Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes, etc. I loved a good mystery. At 15, realized the American ones were all action, the British ones more psychological puzzles. Let me go to bookshop.org and find a good one.
