Like Lord of The Rings but find it hard to parse its metaphors into the modern age?

Try Ralph Bakshi's *Wizards* 1977

Sure its rough, but thats kinda part of the point.

Soundtrack is a folk-funk experience too.

I know how people feel when told they arent "true fans" for not liking a new show.
I was told I wasnt a real Transformer fan for hating Bayverse.
Ironically, best TF show was TF: Prime. Showrunner? Kurtzman. Who was a writer on Bayverse.

I havent seen ST: Academy yet.

I would be so angry if the professor of a course I needed for my future career was doing all his teaching and grant writing and shit with chatgpt. so embarrassing. Jesus Christ. How did you get a phd if you need help writing an email? You're having 'conversations' with a chatbox?
When two years of academic work vanished with a single click
After turning off ChatGPT’s ‘data consent’ option, Marcel Bucher lost the work behind grant applications, teaching materials and publication drafts. Here’s what happened next.

We gotta double, triple, quadruple that negativity people.

They should be scared to even use words with AI in them.

They should be scared to ever speak again.
Jensen Huang of Nvidia, $NVDA, has said relentless negativity around AI is hurting society and has done a lot of damage, per Techspot.

you know this guy is a FOR REAL photographer because he's telling the story of his brutal, unconditional arrest by federal goons and can't help but slip in a gear review
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

San Diego Comic-Con will no longer allow AI 'art' to be displayed at their event

"Material created by AI either partially or wholly, is not allowed in the art show"

This follows backlash from artists after SDCC initially indicated AI-generated work would be permitted

Tone deaf, stupid, anti-artist and insulting to the communities that SDCC supposedly supports and celebrates. Let the AI crowd put on their own Slopcon/Theftcon shitshow on if they want to display their lack of talent.

Contact info below to politely voice your opinion, i.e., don't say "shitshow".
GenAi has NO place at Comicon, ESPECIALLY at art shows!

By doing so Comic-con signals to older and newer generations of artists that their exploitation and replacement is worth putting on a pedestal.👎

Anyway here’s their email. Feel free to politely share thoughts:

Like him or loathe him, without him we wouldn't have Stargate.
Rest in peace Erich Von Däniken, an early pioneer in using confirmation bias to gain vast wealth. He looked at the vast tapestry of ancient history through the tiniest keyhole imaginable, claiming that aliens were responsible for every advancement in human civilization.

Non-expert thought of the day: Machine learning is excellent. LLMs are very different from machine learning, and they are unethical and untrustworthy shite. This is why "AI" should never be used a catch-all phrase for both technologies.
