Putting together a new Commander list, and as usual even my conservative first pass gives me 116 cards. Three-color, 37 lands, 4 rocks and sad robot, can’t touch any of that. This is always so hard…I guess I could keep the mana separate, ask opponents to pull cards at random and then shuffle up?

let's talk about the virtue of selfish design.
for starters, a game designer is in almost all cases a gamer. they play games and usually like playing the game they're making/working on. and have thought a lot about game structures.
