If Starbucks won’t respect workers at the bargaining table, they don’t deserve our clicks or orders.

Our call to action is simple:

🙌🏽 A huge win for Haitian families and all working people. Thanks to the bravery of Haitians who shared stories and the groups that challenged the Trump admin, Haitians with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) can breathe easier today. The fight for a path to citizenship continues! #TPSjustice
BREAKING: A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from ending TPS for Haiti. This means that 350,000 Haitians can keep working, contributing, & remain with their families in the US for now. A big win, but the fight for permanent protections isn’t over. amp.miamiherald.com/news/local/i...

Unions are working-class power. Period. That’s why Trump has cut 300,000 federal jobs and stripped collective bargaining from over a million workers. If he can silence the people who keep the country running, he thinks he can silence all of us. Not happening. #UnionsForAll

#Starbucks wants to revert to a community coffeehouse, bringing back that local, personal touch with every cup.

And instead of doing that with happy staff in the community, they want to add an AI-powered chatbot.

Starbucks has a history of uneven & unsafe weather policies.

Multiple workers affected by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires were told to stay open and work in evacuation areas.

Union baristas then organized, took action, and WON pay for missed shifts.
UPDATE: When the LA wildfires began earlier this month, Starbucks baristas reported working in unsafe conditions, with one store's video going viral on social media.

In response, these workers organized and fought back - and later won catastrophe pay. Hear their story below 👇

Starbucks workers in Texas had their store close for 3 days due to extreme weather... but management told the workers that the storm wasn't bad enough for them to get pay.

This is against company policy. Once the store reopened, union workers said HELL NO and went on STRIKE!

“The #SocialSecurity Administration will overhaul its workflow to accommodate a slimmed-down workforce and handle its cases on a nationwide basis...that could lead to further service disruptions at an agency that handles benefits for about 75 million Americans."

❓DID YOU KNOW❓

54% of the 36,000 frontline SSA employees represented by AFGE were paid less than a living wage for their geographic region.
To restore the Social Security Administration & protect our benefits, we’re demanding leadership to take immediate action:

⚠️ Fund Social Security and the rest of the government on January 30
⚠️ Lift the hiring freeze and fully staff the agency
⚠️ Pay Social Security workers a living wage
