The data shows:

In 2024, Niccol was paid $96 million for just 120 days of work.

That’s a shocking 6,666 times what the median Starbucks barista makes.

Niccol’s salary comes at the cost of workers’ living standards.

Union baristas’ struggle for a fair contract is tied to the broader fight for a just society. Billionaires and CEOs are getting richer and richer on the backs of working people while the politicians they fund are gutting our health care, our wages and our rights.

In the spring, Starbucks brought in new CEO Brian Niccol with promises of brewing something new and bringing customers back to the coffee giant.

Has it worked?

According to customers: Long waits persist, service is sluggish, and drinks aren’t ready on time.

Let me tell you something — if Starbucks keeps union busting, Red Cup Day = Red Cup Rebellion.

Stand in solidarity: don't buy Starbucks if baristas go on strike. #NoContractNoCoffee

If Starbucks baristas have to strike, we need to do the same — by not shopping at Starbucks.

When workers take action together with the support and solidarity of their community, we can take back power from the billionaires and CEOs.

It’s time to stand with workers, not billionaires. ✊🏽

losing health care can't be that bad, right?

it isn't like medical debt is a problem.

not like people are already making choices between soup, surgery, and staying housed, right?

not like businesses would look to exploit people who *checks notes* want to live?

*continues checking notes*

oh no.

"Workers are afraid to speak up about issues like the risks of inhaling pesticides, which have sent some to the doctor.

'There is a culture of fear, but if someone doesn’t speak up, it’s going to keep happening.'"

When passengers catch an Uber or Lyft at LAX, they don’t see the chaos of “the pen”.

But the situation has gotten so bad that “some drivers have taken out their frustrations by scribbling curses against Uber and its executives on the walls inside the port-a-potties” #uber #lyft #lax #la #travel
