Liam was taken from Columbia Heights, the town just south of my high school in Fridley and just north of the Arts district in NE Minneapolis. I spent a lot of time with friends there after extracurriculars. News of his abduction completely broke my heart. I’m glad he’s home. #Comics4Liam

Always enjoy Ray Porter. I think 14 was the first audio book I heard him read... 14 years ago?

love this.
Oof I don't think it's feasible for me to make calendars this year, considering I can't really send stuff to the US or EU at the moment - anyway this was from February 2024

I would be remiss not to post what I can only imagine was a proof of concept. Cutscenes from the ps1 game.

😅 i literally just have to remember to turn off a Gray bg layer. Its all digital.
January 29, 2026 at 5:16 AM
Yeah, for work stuff I tend throw lighter tones behind things for contrast. Sometimes I feel like basic little sketches like this get a little lost though.
January 29, 2026 at 4:49 AM
One of these days ill remember to lighten the bg a bit before posting. I tend to work on on gray as its easier on my old eyes.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Yeah, it's great for quickly block out mass, and just squirrely enough to keep it interesting.

Not sure if you are interested, but I have a brush for Krita that does a wet look. It feels like using a big sumi brush. Only works with Krita though. Haven't been able to recreate it in CSP (yet).

Examples are rough sketch of the cat+girl and the chunky strokes on the girl with the snake eyes.

I am open and looking for work again! I’ve worked on projects for Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Draco Gaming, Mondo, and more. I do full color illustrations and concept art, and I specialize in creatures.

I watched Ride the X Train the other day. I liked aspects of it. I mean I got the concept and the execution was pretty good. Probably won't watch it again though. 80s in Japan was a moment in time for animation though. Not sure we'll ever get to a point where stuff like that is fiesable again.

I've discounted all my calendars, even if January is basically over you can still use the calendar page as a postcard and have 11 other months to use the rest of it

Also I put a bunch of new painted wood banners up if you missed the chance last month
