I got so annoyed trying to deserialize a list of different concrete implementations of an interface I amalgamated them into one class just to make the problem go away. This feels like it should be something you just solve trivially with like an annotation or something.
I'm stuck in deserialiser hell and the internet is no fucking use
I've not done a lot of work on it in the last few days but I realised it'd be handy if the dedicated server had access to Godot types and in that case the netcode may as well use them too to cut out type conversion so I've totally broken everything and not finished unbreaking it yet.

Despite many attendees fearing there would be a crackdown on adult outfits and kink gear given the aggressive shift in tone from the hotel, neither I nor anyone else I spoke to experienced this.

Rider is like "this is definitely cool and ok and valid" and I'm just staring at it all squinty eyed wondering how many bugs I've introduced converting the old model to the new one in the netcode and dedicated server ...

Boring Animal Transport update today, I fixed the CTD by stopping the player from resizing/moving circles so that no tangent was possible. There might be similar errors later but I haven't allowed the player to do the things that trigger them so I'll leave that for future me to forget about.

Hotels becoming giant buzzkills for cons is lame but I think we're coming towards the end of the age of the residential con anyway. That's sad because I love them but there's just nowhere for them to go, you already can't get a bed for love nor money at a lot of cons.
