It remains insane to me that DOGE was treated at the time as an impressive shock and awe accomplishment - “you can’t deny he’s getting stuff done!” - and then instantly memory holed by the press once if became clear it was a total failure by every possible standard including Musk’s own

I just saw the "Tribute to Philadelphia" sign at #PAXUnplugged and it has me pissed off and not for the reasons PAX wants me to be pissed off

In some ways the weirdest thing to me about the Epstein files vote is how a few months ago Pam Bondi officially said there was nothing in them. In normal times this would be a gigantic scandal in itself that the Attorney General lied… and now it’s just a Tuesday.
