We've seen enough. Katie Wilson is the next Mayor of Seattle.
🚨🚨 Just in: Katie Wilson has expanded her lead in the Seattle mayor race. She is now leading by 1,976 votes, which means that the race is no longer in automatic recount territory.

If you are thinking "it isn't fair that they have a 4 day work week and I don't" you are right! Fix that problem by forming a union and bargaining for what you need.
WE WON! After 42 days of striking we have a tentative agreement in hand that protects our existing 4 day work week, establishes a minimum salary, and adds protections against AI replacing jobs at our workplace!

Finally! New Steam hardware looks sick, I've been waiting too long for these. Two controllers + one VR headset for me, if price is right. store.steampowered.com/sale/hardware

Wow. While we wait for the few remaining ballots to be counted, we feel like we have won this race. The recent drop put us nearly 1,400 votes ahead, just under the .5 percent threshold for a mandatory recount.

Seattle's Mamdani is winning by an absurdly small margin over our incumbent mayor, who once pulled a gun on a pregnant woman in a parking lot.

Vote in your local elections!

SEATTLE!!!

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

As of today, approximately 1,800 challenged ballots were outstanding in Seattle, with the mayor's race likely to be decided by hundreds of votes. Visit the link below to check that your ballot has been counted, and if not, what you need to do next.

This is probably where my Grid Master run in RuneScape comes to an end. A very nice number of grid points. Couple rows/columns where I was only missing one slot, but almost all of those are bosses.

Losing in penalties is meaningless. Season was solid. Bummer to let St. Clair and Minnesota get bailed out by a crossbar, but we beat Messi and his crybaby buddies in a final, so I'm not upset about this year at all. #Sounders

Something I've done before multiple moves is making dimension-accurate 3D models of every room, so that I can visualize furniture changes before buying. It takes a few hours but it is so worth it. home.by.me is free-as-in-beer software to do this.

Screwing around with Godot and Blender, made a little spaceship that can have its engine and guns added at runtime and have the right size/orientation/position. Doesn't look like much but for a newbie it feels like I had to learn a fair amount to get all those pieces to work together.

One underappreciated thing about Zohran Mamdani, he never says "I respect my opponent and we just have different ideas blah blah", he straight up hates Andrew Cuomo and everything Cuomo stands for, and he put in the extra legwork during the campaign to make sure that guy lost twice.

Decision Desk HQ was rushing out calls ahead of everyone this year. They're deliberately trying to be the first to call a race. I think this should cost them a healthy amount of credibility, especially as they are seemingly lying about the data they got from King County Elections to cover their ass.
A lot was made about Decision Desk HQ last night. They've pulled back a call in the Seattle mayoral race. election-night.decisiondeskhq.com/date/2025-11...

My AirPod Pros from January 2020 might be kicking the bucket. The buds keep desyncing and barely getting an hour of battery out of 'em. Six years isn't bad but it's basically all the things I was worried about with the forced corpo push to wireless. I'm sure the drivers would be fine for years.
