Fascinating that the cause of collapse of both major parties has not just been basically identical (cost of living and service failings creating unpopularity, chasing radical right tail on immigration fuelling in-bloc schism), but that doubling down has persisted long after failure became clear.

Bottom line: if Trump didn’t personally authorize or control the autopen, it’s possible the pardons could be legally challenged, and that’s a huge deal, like we heard them argue about Biden.

Is it much of a stretch for one’s imagination to consider that a president, who would physically endanger a loyal member of his own party, wouldn’t absolutely do anything to prevent the American people seeing the Epstein files?
