Historically, is it a good idea to starve your military? Just wondering.
This is the food distribution line at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas 11/7/25. This is what Trump doesn't want you to see.

Our School District Can Now Keep Track of Your Child with Just Three Terrible Apps
Other than lawsuits, losing track of a child is every school district’s worst nightmare. We haven’t lost anyone yet, but an EdTech company has pain...

There's literally no reason for Congress to exist if any random freak in the presidential orbit can nullify laws and seize federal funds. All of this is plainly illegal, but Mike Johnson leads the most corrupt Congress in US history (and by a wide margin.)

Or is this just the madness of King Donald playing out in public without any substantive action besides Gruppenfuhrer Miller's standard abuses?

I'm just an unfrozen caveman, but it seems to me that this might be an interesting petard for the current debauched SCOTUS. Any lawyerly person care to opine? Tell me I'm wrong? @kenwhite.bsky.social
Since immigration judges are by definition administrative judges, how does Loper Bright affect them?

Nice to see where I lived stand up to thuggery and thinly-veiled racism.
Federal immigration agents were seemingly forced to retreat from a roofing job site in Rochester, NY, after being confronted by more than 100 protesters

The workers stayed on the roof and agents drove away in a Border Patrol SUV on four flat tires, which had been slashed
ICE agents in the Park Ave neighborhood spark large-scale protest
The group shouted “shame” and "Gestapo,” and applauded as agents in the ICE-led action drove a Border Patrol SUV away on four flat tires, which had been slashed.

And to think that we could have just arrested this criminal idiot maniac for sedition back on January 7, 2021 and then tried and imprisoned his ass and none of this current insanity would be happening. Lesson learned I hope.

People don’t need to “learn to use AI”. They need to learn how to think and make connections themselves and thus will facilitate their efficient use of whatever technology comes along. Crafting the right prompt for AI doesn’t take AI training, it takes liberal arts training.

Legalized open bribery.
i feel like trumpcoin, and the fact that we never talk about it, is pretty emblematic of the way the press refuses to grapple with trump.

it exists in order to pay him bribes. it expressly gives you political access. it does not pretend to have a licit motive. it was a one-day scandal.

They're not Republicans anymore, they're Royalists.
the basic problem facing american democracy is that one party has decided it wants a king and will hand over as much authority as is necessary to make that happen
All but three House Republicans just voted for Trump's tariffs. The procedural measure, which preemptively surrenders congressional power to stop Trump's tariffs, passed with all Democrats voting no. This was the vote count:
