Like it or not one thing that Trump is right about is that Europe in general has not spent enough on defense. Without the US they’re kind of screwed.

Do any of the European countries still have any nukes? Don’t fool yourselves into thinking that the Russians won’t use them.
I'm saying what I never thought I would ever say. Europe needs to decuple from America, and I'm pretty sure the trust will never come back.

We can not have an alliance with what is now political flat earthers. Living in unreality isn't OK.

When Joe Biden was elected, America’s allies were willing to accept that the Trump era was an aberration. That bridge is now burned. It will take a generation to regain their trust and that’s assuming we get the chance.

So I’ve been saying for years that all these people describing our constitution is this wonderful fabulous document are wrong.

Our constitution is a piece of crap.

Does anyone disagree with me at this point?

You know, I realize how strongly many of you liberals on this echo-chamber website despise constitutional originalism, so I hope you don’t get mad at me for posting this.

But I happened to be re-reading the Constitution with my usual eye toward discerning the Framers’ original intent and … (1/2)

There are very few options for people who want to stop Donald Trump's mass deportation plan. Congressional funding could be the roadblock.

I'm not in New York. But I've basically stopped watching cable news. I don't turn the TV on without a (non-news) destination in mind. I still have the same newspaper subscriptions (even The Washington Post), but I'm reading far less.
I think the media has blinders on and is getting this wrong. While many legacy outlets are seeing declines, from talking to others, that is not the case for many newer outlets.

For example, Democracy Docket had its best week ever for new paid memberships. www.democracydocket.com/member-me/

What makes you think he wanted Gaetz as AG?

He wanted the distraction. He wanted the chaos. He wanted the news cycle.

Side bonus, we might not get to see the ethics report for a creep he will just appoint to some other non-confirmed position.
"If you’re worried about Trump dealing a deathblow to democracy, in a strange way this week has been somewhat reassuring. The Gaetz debacle shows Trump not only can’t get everything he wants, but remains undisciplined and prone to damaging own-goals."

WTF?
Why are we “striking deals?” We have the fucking majority. I’m so tired of Schumer. If you have to work through the holidays and stay up nights, DO YOUR JOB and confirm judges for every vacancy. I don’t care if it takes longer. DO YOUR JOB.
