This is so good. We should do this.
Ahead of Germany’s election, with anti-immigrant sentiment rising, they released viral videos showing life without immigrants.

History proves that when a country starts erasing certain people, it doesn’t end well.

My heart 💔😭

For nine months, this child has been bringing flowers to his father's grave - a father who died protecting his family, his home, and his country.

Me too. I’m waiting to buy it when I can afford it.
I hope the book will soon be available in (affordable) paperback, so that its readership will not be limited to (senior) scholars and university library users.

Perhaps Putin can pop over to the USA a de-nazify them.
My warmest greetings go out to the wonderful people who built their careers sniffing out “Ukrainian Nazis” under every stone in Ukraine for tasty headlines that fueled Russian war propaganda on this-is-why-Ukraine-must-be-dealt-with, only to get Nazi salutes normalized in their own country.

There's a rumour that Nigel Farage is keeping his head down because he's off to a Trump cheerleading conference over the weekend.

I’m afraid I’m being proved right- Farage is far more interested in Trump's success than British security. He is a bootlicker and a plastic patriot.

This is quite the letter. Wow.
The lead prosecutor in the Eric Adams case has resigned over DOJ's order that the case be dismissed.

"I expect you will eventually find someone who will be enough of a fool, or enough of a coward, to file your motion. But it was never going to be me."

Such a great description of Musk: a jumped up railroad baron with a Twitter addiction. Splendid.
Serious question: At what point does "disruptor" simply mean "unaccountable despot" with better branding? Musk is no Prometheus bringing fire to mankind—he’s a jumped-up railroad baron with a Twitter addiction, setting the rules for his own empire while sycophants mistake caprice for genius.

Braverman’s discourse is poisonous.
Braverman should be driven out of public life for saying something as bigoted, conspiratorial, ridiculous, and dumb as this but she won’t be, of course, because anti-Muslim bigotry and Islamophobic fearmongering has been normalized in British public life.

The more I read about the Rev Budde the more I admire her. And I’m not religious.
2018-Matthew Shepard had no resting place for 20 years because his parents were afraid of his grave being vandalized, until Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde invited them to inter him at the Washington National Cathedral alongside presidents, heroes, Helen Keller...

Reeves seems averse this. She shouldn’t be.
A tiny 2% wealth tax, on 20k people would raise £24 billion per year to spend on the things that urgently need fixing in our country.

We need some tax justice - the more money you have the less tax you pay and vice versa - that’s absurd.

A good point. Shows how brittle they are.
One bishop, in one church, literally just asked the president to be nice and him and everyone in his circle been melting down for a week.

These aren't strong people. They're very, very weak people. They can be beaten.
