The Senate will vote on the DHS funding bill next week and it can’t pass without Democratic votes.
That means Democrats have real leverage to rein in ICE, but they won’t use it unless we force them to.

My God. On or about 1/20/26, Trump signed an Executive Order to bring back insane asylums. On 1/21/26, Katie Miller (wife of Stephen Miller) wrote that “They should be insane asylums, not shelters” in response to a Pirate Wires article criticizing a shelter for trans & gender confused people. 1/

Do we even have a congress anymore? Because it sure seems like we don’t. Prior to his second term, I was a fierce dem defender. Not anymore and I’m sure I’m not alone. I’d like at least the appearance that dem leadership is fighting for us.
