“Kentucky will never reach its potential if our children’s ZIP code determines their place in the world by the first day of kindergarten. The time for pre-K is now.” - Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman

Couldn't agree more! 👏

Felt good to be back in my family's home of Dawson Springs today to celebrate another milestone as we build back from the deadly 2021 tornadoes. This time, we broke ground on a new City Park where families will make memories together.

Reminder: Trump and the Republicans backing him are fighting to make your life unaffordable.

The initial KY GOP House budget:

❌ No Pre-K funding
❌ K-12 education funding frozen
❌ No raises for teachers
❌ Cuts to higher education and financial aid
❌ No plan to address federal SNAP and Medicaid cuts

This is not making Kentuckians’ lives better.

Thanks to Governor @andybeshearky.bsky.social’s leadership, Kentucky's economy is growing. He continues to put in the work to bring new jobs, new investments, and opportunity to the Commonwealth.

First telephone town hall of the year in the books!

Thank you to the thousands of Louisvillians who called in to join the conversation about what's going on in Congress and back home in Louisville. Keep showing up and using your voice!

$54,500 tax dollars per hour.

That’s how much the people of Kentucky have paid Kentucky Republicans to pass zero bills in the past 26 days of the legislative session.

Representative Joshua Watkins checking in!

Watch now to hear more about his favorite bill he filed this session. 🏡

Kentucky taxpayers are footing a $54,500 per hour salary and counting so Kentucky Republicans can have a few laughs in Frankfort.

Passing bills that lower the cost of living? That’s the last thing on their minds.

Instead of addressing Trump’s massive cuts to rural health and dental care, the KY GOP is trying to make drinking water worse for your teeth.

$17 million could support rural hospitals or make dental care more accessible in communities that need it most.

We want to know what House Republicans are getting paid to do.

Session is halfway over and House Appropriations & Revenue JUST had their first meeting to outline their budget bill and they didn’t even discuss the budget.

They're taking public taxpayer dollars to discuss the budget in secret.

The legislative session is almost halfway over. $650K taxpayer dollars spent, zero bills passed, and zero public budget hearings.

We’re paying Republicans to hold secret meetings about your tax dollars and rant about how much they hate @andybeshearky.bsky.social.

While the cost of living has been rising, the minimum wage hasn't increased in 17 years.

Senator Reggie Thomas is fighting to change that. His bill, SB 16, would increase the minimum wage to $10 an hour.

Hand delivering valentines to our veterans is a highlight of my year — I love every opportunity to show our appreciation for their service.

If you want to participate in this year's Valentines for Veterans program, send your valentines to my Louisville office by February 12!

Are Kentucky Republicans working for you? No.

The KY GOP have burned nearly $650,000 of your tax dollars during 24 days of session and have not passed a single bill to benefit Kentuckians.

At this moment in our history, how we conduct our business today will determine how future Americans view us. I hope and pray that God grants us the wisdom to see beyond the anger of today’s politics to the possibility and promise that tomorrow holds.

The KDP asks the KY GOP to join us in condemning the President’s blatantly racist post comparing the Obamas to apes, imagery that has long been used to demean so many of our fellow Americans. Like so much of President Trump’s behavior, this post is beneath the dignity of the Office.

Trump’s economy keeps getting worse. Job cuts just hit a level we haven't seen since 2009.

Kentucky families are worried about making ends meet. Instead of helping, Republicans in Frankfort are pushing a reckless budget and wasting time on issues that do nothing to make life more affordable.
