Spent approximately 10 minutes today scrubbing a bunch of spoons that had some tea/coffee staining and it was very satisfying

These idiots. October 27, 2022. SRC Arena. John Katko was there. He voted YEA on the Chips & Science Act Tenney (who then filled Katko’s seat and the 24th underwent redistricting) and Stefanik sure were not and had voted NAY. Ready to lie and smile on a whim. www.govtrack.us/congress/vot...

Reskeet this with your home river.

The Mohawk

(The way I started over thinking this - that’s my childhood home river.)
Reskeet this with your home river.

Mine is the mighty North Saskatchewan.
My favorite Twitter prompt was "RT this with your home river," so reskeet this with your home river.

Mine is the Patuxent.

Choking down a gross cup of coffee but I know I’ll have a better one soon.

This sounds like it contains some deeper meaning but is just comparing the office keurig to the coffee shop meeting.

At a Sunday meeting with Syracuse residents, Mayor Sharon Owens reiterated city police will not act as agents for ICE under her leadership, which is less than two weeks old. (Gift link) www.syracuse.com/news/2026/01...

Turbinado sugar for coffee and tea. I don’t go so far as to regularly buy the chunks, but the first time I saw those in a restaurant as a kid? Taken aback. I was surely amongst the upper echelons to be able to put these magical sugar rocks in my tea.
Like fancy salt, what’s a simple thing that you’re bougie about?

Should I get rid of mugs I like that have chips around the rim AND, if I did, what are creative ideas for reuse that are not pencil/other stuff holders/planters?

I have many mugs…

If there’s a giant plate of pastries out at my mom’s featuring pusties/pastaciotti, it must be NYD in CNY.

The buried car in the background a few posts down is now trying to be dug out and towed by a neighbor pickup truck. Prime snooping happening right now.
Next door neighbor did a pass from my house down with the snowblower so that was nice and just left the 3-4 inches on the walkway/steps for me to clean up (though it is still snowing). And this street hasn’t been plowed yet so I look forward to careening through the air over that pile tomorrow.
Yay the driveway got plowed. I should have gotten a contract with someone this year so I’ve been paying criminal amounts to P&M but you know of if I get “a guy” next year it will not snow at all.

I think the next shovel round happens in 15 minutes…

In this snow’s defense, it’s quite light and fluffy.
