After 2+ months of CFB, here is an underrated great thing of watching Texas Tech/Illini last night: FS1 never showed a graphic of how a win/loss affects 1-seed odds, discussed Final Four odds, or wondered how many teams the SEC can jam into the field. It was about the actual game. Novel concept.

After 2+ months of CFB, here is an underrated great thing of watching Texas Tech/Illini last night: FS1 never showed a graphic of how a win/loss affects 1-seed odds, discussed Final Four odds, or wondered how many teams the SEC can jam into the field. It was about the actual game. Novel concept.
Upside for Kentucky: made 12 threes, outshot Louisville, out rebounded Louisville, watched as Louisville managed to miss 7 consecutive FTs

I remain questioning of Michigan’s offense once they play some better/larger competition but my preseason pick of them as the second-best defense in college basketball and a serious contender to threaten Houston for #1, boy that one feels good.

I'm waiting for confirmation on this, but based on Ken's numbers and my own calculations of points scored on Saturday, November 8, 2025 (59 games) demolished the single-day college basketball scoring record, with an average of 78.9 PPG per team. Likely the highest scoring day in 30+ years.
The top ten scoring days in men's college basketball history* to 8 decimal point accuracy. Two of them have occurred this season. Hopeful today makes a third.
*Since the 1997 season, minimum 50 D-I vs D-I games

One YouTube TV thing I would like as an improvement (may exist and I may simply not have found it): ability to organize your multiview without having to remove/re-add games to get it exact. *Usually* I'm smart enough to get my two most favored games on the top half but I'm also not that smart.
